Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition (MSACN)

2025-2026 Cost of Attendance Components

  • Books, Course Materials, Supplies, & Equipment: Estimated annual costs for required academic materials.
  • Housing and Food: Estimated living expenses, including rent, food, and utilities.
  • Transportation: Estimated costs for commuting to and from campus. Costs vary based on travel distance and mode of transportation.
  • Personal/Miscellaneous: Estimated annual costs for personal care, entertainment, and other living expenses.

Supervised Practice Experience (SPE)

The SPE program cost is $2,893 per quarter.
All Sonoran students and alumni receive a waived $50 application fee and an exclusive rate of $1,929 per quarter.


What are the fees?
Non-refundable fees* and a $300 administrative fee.
*Fees associated with the Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen are paid directly to the vendors and are non-refundable. Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change. 

Are payment plans available?
Monthly payment plans are not available.

When are payments due?
Payment is due no later than the Friday before the start of the corresponding quarter.

Is Federal Financial Aid available for Sonoran’s SPE program?
No. The SPE program is a postgraduate, non-degree program and therefore, per Federal policy, is not eligible for Federal Financial Aid.

Does participation in Sonoran’s SPE program allow for an additional grace period on my federal loans; am I still considered ‘in school’?
No. The SPE program is a postgraduate, non-degree program and therefore, per Federal policy, students are not eligible for Title IV aid and the federal student loan grace period is not applicable while enrolled in the SPE program.
