Kaitlyn is a third-year medical student and Student Government Association (SGA) Board Member at Sonoran University of Health Sciences. She grew up in Indiana and knew from a young age that she wanted to become a doctor. It wasn’t until after graduating from undergrad, however, that she discovered naturopathic medicine and felt it aligned with her vision for patient care.
Before attending medical school, Kaitlyn lived in Florida for several years, where she gained hands-on clinical experience working in an interventional pain management clinic. She ultimately chose Sonoran University because of the broad scope of practice for naturopathic doctors in Arizona and the opportunity to train at the university’s regenerative medicine clinic, the Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine.
After graduation, Kaitlyn hopes to collaborate with other regenerative medicine physicians through a residency or clinical preceptorship before eventually opening her own practice. She is passionate about sharing the principles of naturopathic medicine and welcomes questions from prospective students and patients alike.
