Ellen Melton PhD, LPC-S


About: 

Dr. Melton has been a university professor for 24 years, a professor in a counseling program for 17 years and has taught at both the master and doctoral levels. Dr. Melton served as the Director of Graduate and Professional Studies for 2 years. Dr. Melton has developed and taught over 30 university courses over the course of her career and has instructed each of those courses, including every course in the CACREP counseling curriculum. Dr. Melton has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010 and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor since 2012. Dr. Melton is a continuing education provider and has trained counselor supervisors for 13 years. Dr. Melton has also been a board approved supervisor to counseling interns/associates for 13 years.
