Sonoran University Visits Local Middle School

Sonoran University Provides Healthcare Support to Local Middle School Staff & Students

We Love. We Shape the Future. We Achieve Excellence. We Do the Right Thing. We Are Resilient.

Sonoran University’s Community Health program, providing healthcare in communities that are underserved since 1996, turns the conventional wisdom on its head that only wealthy and privileged individuals can access and benefit from naturopathic and holistic healthcare. Earlier this year, we formalized a partnership to serve a community in our backyard, children, families, and staff members of the Tempe Elementary School District.

On August 16, Dr. Joseph Vazquez, Associate Dean of Clinical Education, and members of Sonoran University, visited the teachers and staff of Connolly Middle School. We had the opportunity to bring them a variety of health supplements and educate them on the partnership benefits.

In the video below, Dr. Vazquez and Connolly Middle School Principal, Luke Pugh took a moment to share some information about the Tempe Elementary School Clinic located in the Sonoran University Medical Center and what it means for their students.
